Rangers collect leopard's blood samples to control viruses. The Keepers of Leopard Land (E3)
Protecting Amur leopards is the main priority of the rangers and vets who work at Leopard Land National Park. If the endangered animals’ numbers are to grow, it’s imperative that they have an abundant food source, so rangers must stop poachers from killing the deer the leopards feed on. In one operation, rangers catch one poacher, but another escapes without his gun.
The vets are responsible for making sure the leopards don’t get sick. They have begun screening domestic animal living in villages within the park to make sure they don’t have diseases that might affect the big cats. Cameras have also been placed around the park to monitor the cats’ movements.
