The crew has just 15 hours to clean the train, restock it, and grab some shuteye before heading back to Moscow. They also manage to squeeze in some shopping. Being close to China, prices in Vladivostok are quite good. Natalia gets a bargain on a birthday present for her twins, and Sergey finds exciting holiday gifts for his family. Shortly after setting off on the return trip, disaster strikes: a problem in a freight car has knocked out electricity to the whole train, including the heating system.
