Russian travelers set sail on a journey from Finland to Brazil
Stanislav Beryozkin, an engineer specializing in automation systems and Russia's yachting champion, has devised an experimental homemade trimaran. Teaming up with the adventurous traveler Evgeny Kovalevsky, they set out on a circumnavigation, tracing the route of Ivan Kruzenshtern. Starting their journey from Kronstadt, their goal is to return to St. Petersburg in three years. What's it like spending such an extended period at sea together? Can they encounter fellow travelers amidst the vast ocean? What dangers lurk in the Baltic and North Seas? And how will they fend off sharks while crossing the Atlantic?
