The Cocaine River

Amazonia locals killed in drug dealers' territorial disputes

Karim used to be an ordinary Russian student, but one day he decided to turn his life around. He quit university and bought a one-way ticket to Brazil. When Karim landed in San Paolo, his suitcase, with all of his money and passport, was stolen. Eleven years later, Karim has a family in Brazil and his main source of income is fishing trips, which he arranges for foreigners. It would appear that life is getting better. But the fishing business is increasingly dangerous. Every day he risks running into drug dealers as the Amazon River has become the largest cocaine hub. How does Karim manage to escape drug traffickers and why is asking the police for help not an option?
