The Show Must Go On - A Clown's Life Ep. 4
Vladimir’s circus is ready to open, but there’s a threat of rain. They must sell at least one-third of their thousand seats to break even, so good attendance is crucial. If it does rain, the circus’ biggest act, the Brazilian Marcos’ acrobatic show would have to be cancelled, because his equipment is outside and he could easily slip if it were wet. As insurance, Sergey gives Sazonov a reprieve from his punishment and lets him go on with his magic act. The skies are clear, and the stands are nearly full when the show begins, but halfway through it starts to pour. The big top is soon flooding, and the show is in jeopardy. However, with some furious pumping and bailing, they make it to the end, and the audience, which has hardly noticed, leaves happy.
