Keeping Cool Amid Chaos – News Team Ep.19
Thabang Motsei continues her exploration of Lake Baikal, this time boarding a hovercraft for a trip across its ice-covered surface. Aleksey Yaroshevsky goes through the “dos and don’ts” of being a riot correspondent while being once again in the epicentre of the Ukrainian conflict, Kiev’s Maidan Square, where unrest has reignited despite the government’s amnesty for protesters coming into force. Meanwhile, Maria Finoshina, whose boyfriend is being held captive by the Syrian militia, is doing her best to keep his spirits up. But when he asks Maria to come to Syria she has a difficult decision to make. Could this be a trap set by his kidnappers?
