Aleksey Yaroshevsky reports from the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, where protests in the main square become more intense despite the announcement of a truce. He encounters the worst fighting he has seen there, and his film crew is even shot at by a sniper. Peter Oliver has been sent to Paris to cover the anti-government demonstrations. However, before he can do so, he must first successfully navigate the city’s underground system. Thabang Motsei’s journey across Siberia continues. She visits one of the major Buddhist temples in Russia, Ivolginsky Datsan. This is the resting place of Dashi-Dorzho Itigelov, a monk who died almost 90 years ago but whose body is miraculously preserved.
