Back to school: The pupils of Sennoye return to classes - Save Our School Ep.5
Classes kick off, with four children starting first grade. It’s a lot for a village school with 1-5 students per class.
It may seem easier to teach a class of three students than one with 20-30 children. However, if the kids aren’t motivated, it proves a tough job. Teacher and foster mother Nadezhda says it’s due to some of the foster children having troubled backgrounds.
Teachers at Sennoye struggle with their students’ lack of motivation for learning. Some children, including Natalya’s foster son, are caught smoking.
Watch this episode of ‘Save our School’ to see how teachers cope with children unwilling to study and whether they pin any hopes on them.
