Since the fall of the Taliban, there has been an emergence of a revitalised fashion industry in Afghanistan. Once again, designers are creating colourful traditional garments as we discover in the film Art at the Stake. In Africa, an underground society of fashionable men has developed who, despite living in slums, dress in the most extravagant designer outfits they can afford.
