Breaking Bread

Who’s to blame for the looming food crisis?

Food prices are soaring and the conflict in Ukraine is disrupting global food supply chains. The West is blaming Russia for deliberately creating shortages. Russia, one of the key suppliers of exported grains and fertilisers, claims its anti-Russian sanctions that are stopping food from getting to developing countries. The documentary examines how justified the Western accusations are.
