Bosnia and Herzegovina: Rise of the Caliphate

How jihadists exploited the collapse of Yugoslavia

During the Bosnian war, thousands of Serbs faced executions and imprisonment. Nearly every Serb family has a friend or relative who survived the massacres at the hands of Bosnian Muslims. Almost three decades after the war, victims of the mujahedeen atrocities try to shed light on the background of the conflict. Former UN employee, Deputy Head, International Commission for Investigating the Sufferings of Serbs in Sarajevo, Viktor Bezruchenko, explains why the US and NATO turned a blind eye to Serbs’ suffering and continued to supply warriors of jihad with weapons.
