Imprisoned: The Man in a Tan Jacket
Otis Johnson, 40 years in prison for a charge he denies
Otis Johnson served 40 years in prison for a crime he says he didn’t commit. One day, he wore a tan coloured jacket to a training session in a park. Not far away, an alleged drug dealer shot a police officer and ran away. The attacker was described as wearing a tan jacket, and Otis was arrested. He has maintained his innocence ever since, claiming he was not the man for whom they should have been looking. The seventy-three-year-old is now struggling to adjust to life outside as he makes up for lost years and reconnects with his family.
