Anna Halprin. Dance To Heal

Healing trauma with the power of movement

When Anna was stricken by cancer about 55 years ago, she used dance to help heal herself. Since then, she has taught others to do the same. She has also used her healing-through-dance concept to take on more global issues, such as racism and world peace. Dance helped Anna better understand the oneness of the body and nature, making her a fierce advocate for the environment. She still teaches to this day.
