Russian cosmonaut candidates show what it takes to shoot for the stars
Becoming a cosmonaut seems unachievable, but someone has to do it and Irina, Andrey and Konstantin, decide to aim high in the Russia space agency's recruitment drive. They are among hundreds of applicants striving to be selected for the cosmonaut training program in Star City.
Andrey, Konstantin and Irina are among hundreds of aspiring cosmonauts, who have applied in response to an open call from Roscosmos for new candidates to train for a lunar mission.
Some may even join future lunar missions! RTD follows the three would be space explorers as they undergo extreme tests in the rigorous selection process, to see who is made of the right stuff.
