Iron Characters . Kachkanar gears up for the New Year
New Year preparations are in full swing in the town of Kachkanar. Dispatcher Tatyana Rozhdestvenskaya isn’t idle, looking for the best costume to surprise her colleagues. This year, she picks a bizarre outfit of what she says resembles a thundercloud.
Heavy snow hits the town, spelling trouble at the plant as the rail tracks get buried. Tatyana orders snow clearing so the rail wagons can carry the ore away to be processed.
As New Year inches closer, the ‘iron’ characters of Kachkanar contemplate the past year and pin hopes for the future.
