Corrupt reality of the refugee crisis in Italy

Many African refugees headed for Italy find themselves between a rock and a hard place. In Libya, human traffickers enslave and extort them to pay for a perilous voyage across the Mediterranean, which, if they make it alive, puts them in the hands of illegal enterprises too lucrative to be exposed.
