India's Water Crisis: A Warning To The World
In India’s Punjab water is a precious commodity and the search for it is a matter of life and death. Rural populations rely on water deliveries from other regions and dig ponds to collect rainwater. Without water resources, villagers across Punjab state pay exorbitant prices and walk great distances to get water delivered from elsewhere.
